50% of men have extra marital affairs and almost the same number of women. Keep that figure in mind when all the hypocrits are chastizing John Edwards or anyone else. What really cracked me up was when some of the people calling President Clinton names for having an affair turned out to be they were having affiars to or had had affairs or done even worse. It’s not illegal to have an affair.
I guess my question is why isn’t the country as outraged at these 50% who have admitted affairs as they are at politicians or stars who have affairs. They are just refelctions of what’s happening in society.
They’re senators, or congressmen and women so why are they held to a different standard than the rest of the country. Because they’re politicians. Hell, they can lie, cheat and steal and still get reelected so what’s the big deal about having a freaking affair?
Can you tell me what group of people you think this might be?
36 have been accused of spousal abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad checks
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71, repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 currently are defendants in lawsuits, and
84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year
It’s the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group that crank s out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.
Isn’t it interesting they all feel so free to chastize others when they are guilty of the same or worse. BTW, this was based on the year of 2006
