World financial crisis
The first thing about the world financial crisis, that I have to say today is go watch This Warren Buffet video. You’ll probably learn a few things you didn’t know.
If there is anyone left that thinks we don’t live in a world village and that we don’t all have an effect on the rest of the people of the world you are living in a basement with your head in the dirt. Sheesh.
More and more you can see that we are all connected whether we like it or not. Lol, yes, our economy affects the whole world but if you thik the European Unions economy, the Chinese economy or Japan or Britains economy doesn’t have an affect on us you are horribly wrong.
Everything is tied together and it’s so tied together that a milk crisis in China can hurt 150 other countries economies. No different than the butterly flapping it’s wings in China causes a tornado in Nebraska. While that may be a bit of a stretch it does show how closeley all countries are tied together, whether they are our friends or our enemies.
Bummer that the oil producing countries are now taking it in the neck isn’t it. Their loss is our gain but if they hadn’t overplayed the price of oil things wouldn’t be as bad as they are now. If stupid financial companies hadn’t been so greedy we wouldn’t be in the mess we are now. If consumers world wide hadn’t been so greedy for easy money we wouldn’t be in the mess we are now in.
It took the world to get us into this mess and it’s going to take the world to get us out of this mess. If we learn nothing else the people of the world all need to learn that we either all sink or we either all swim but we all have to do it together.
We don’t need wars anymore. The world as a whole, working in agreement, can bring rogue nations into line just by refusing to deal with them or buy what they sell. Lol, if all the nations of the world quit buying oil from the Arabs what would happen to those countries. Heh, with all that sand I’d suggest they go into the glass market.
Funny thing is it doesn’t even take all of the worlds countries to accomplish this. Just the more industrialized nations. China and melamine which they have shown to be ineffective at cleaning up, well, let the other nations stop buying Chinese products and it’ll be cleaned up in days.
Economic power is much more important than the power to make war. It can accomplish much more than war. The G8 has the economic power, all they have to do is use it.
